Luke Davies and his partner, former television presenter Jesse Baird, are believed to be no longer alive. The investigation suggests that the police officer is the suspected perpetrator. Unfortunately, relationship crimes with a fatal outcome are not uncommon. In Germany alone, 133 women and 19 men died at the hands of their partners in 2022, as the Federal Office for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth reports.
