Swifts and starlings have moved into the nesting boxes at the Geretsried town hall. Two boxes were equipped with a camera.
A camera observes the birds and shows animal renovations. The swift is already on the warning list for endangered bird species. The city administration works closely with the State Association for the Protection of Birds (LBV) and the Bund Naturschutz (BN) The city of GereTSried has been hanging birdhouses at the town hall since 2007.
