From Friday, 16 June, the "King of the Mountains" theme week will offer lectures, guided hikes and walks, a royal dinner, a murder mystery reading and more. In the run-up to the event, the special exhibition "King Ludwig II in our Mountains" was opened at Kochler Bahnhof on Friday.
The exhibition documents on several display boards where Ludwig II's love of the mountains comes from. His mother, Queen Marie, was an "avid mountaineer," Vanessa Richter reported.
