Facebook turns 20, but there is no party. The milestone for the platform comes days after senators questioned its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, and he apologized to parents of children who died from problems that would not have occurred without social media.
Meta is valued at more than $1 trillion, making it one of the most valuable corporations in the United States, based on its stock price. On Thursday it reported $39 billion in profits by 2023 and 3.07 billion monthly users on Facebook alone.
