A police officer responsible for the fatal shooting of Olivio Gomes, a 28-year-old motorist whom he had followed, in 2020 in Poissy in Yvelines, was referred Monday, January 29 to an assize court for murder. The Paris night BAC official is accused of having killed Gomes after having followed him to the bottom of his home, in the Beauregard city, on the night of October 16 to 17, 2020.

During the investigation, the police officer admitted being the perpetrator of the shooting but denied any intention of homicide.
