Evan N'Dicka remained conscious after the chest pain that forced him to collapse on the pitch during the Udinese-Roma game which was then suspended. After an initial check-up in the Friuli medical room he was transferred to hospital for more in-depth checks.

Roma coach Daniele de Rossi and captain Gianluca Mancini went to the changing rooms to follow the situation and after a couple of minutes they returned to the pitch to announce that the player is still fine. The player, it should be underlined, left the field showing his thumb and therefore appears to be better. As for the recovery of these last twenty minutes of the match, they should usually be recovered within 24 hours, but due to the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, it could be postponed to a later date. Udinese end the first half ahead thanks to a goal from Pereyra, who was able to steal a ball from Huijsen in the midfield and pierce Svilar one-on-one.
