Munich's northwest is in danger of being frozen in terms of urban development. The predecessor is 60 years old and envisaged an industrial area.

Since 1964, residential buildings and all sorts of other business premises have also been built there. The main hearing will take place on April 30th. Experts believe that a defeat for the city of Erding is not that unlikely. New residential development will then probably be a thing of the past. There is a great fear, especially in the case of the rubber manufacturer, that it will no longer be able to develop, which the owners probably intend to do. This fear now spread to city politics. Several speakers in the planning and construction committee warned that companies could relocate as a result - and with them hundreds of jobs and high trade tax payments. The majority of the committee approved the development plan again using the supplementary procedure. How much this is worth is only known after the vote. In the worst case, the wild conditions in the area are frozen indefinitely.
