Federal judge maintains Biden's humanitarian parole program for migrants from Cuba, Venezuela, Haiti and Nicaragua. The judge confirmed the program that allows up to 30,000 migrants per month from these four countries to enter the United States.

The ruling responds to a lawsuit from Republican states that argue that the program burdens them with increasing medical, educational and public safety costs. The decision is expected to be appealed. Since the program was launched, more than 357,000 people from Cuba,. Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela have been paroled.
