Isar Aerospace wanted to build a new location on 15.6 hectares of the now almost filled gravel pit. If Feldkirchen had been involved, 500 employees there would have produced 40 rockets a year from spring 2026.

The community planned to build 500 to 600 apartments and a local recreation center on the remaining area. The local council unanimously decided to end the collaboration with Isar Aerospace, which had never really begun, and end the planning of the production halls. The plan includes noise protection in the direction of the S-Bahn and B471, a parking garage for cars and one for bicycles, a nursing home as well as a new elementary school with a triple gymnasium and an area for a community center that can be used by clubs, a library or a youth group. The new cycle path is taken into account, with a connection from Heimstetteneer See to Aschheimer Straße and the railway tracks. Numerous uses are planned for the public spaces, such as public shooting facilities, cycling track, shooting table, volleyball court, and more.
