Sohaib Teima, a twenty-one year old from Fermo, arrested on 10 April in Lyon. He is suspected of the murder of his partner, the twenty-two year old Frenchwoman Auriane Nathalie Laisne, found dead on 5 April in a small ruined church in Valled'Aosta.

He felt ill while leaving Grenoble prison to be transported before the Court of Appeal, which will have to decide on his extradition, and was admitted to hospital. The 11am hearing has not yet been able to take place. According to the court and lawyer, the cause of the illness could be an overdose of antidepressants. The hearing is scheduled for 11am on Tuesday. The case is still pending. The court and the lawyer have not yet confirmed that the hearing will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday, but the hearing is expected to be held at 11am.
