Feud: The Betrayals of Truman Capote lacks the provocative humor so dear to Ryan Murphy. The whole thing remains on the surface, wallowing in gratuitous, sometimes misogynistic cruelty.

Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Demi Moore and Calista Flockhart portray the wounded women. Tom Hollander is a Capote more true and pathetic than life: high-pitched and unctuous voice. The consequences don't matter, as long as the good word hits the heart.
