Bad Bayersoien's town hall boss made a rather unconventional proposal to the local council. The mayor wanted to help the village shop financially and, on the other hand, to still protect the municipal coffers.

In return, she would lighten her private wallet by 150 euros and called on local politicians to follow suit. The proposal per se met with open ears. “But I find the combination with the attendance fee strange,” said Rupert Haseidl (GUD). “This is a municipal task.”
