Fines on Mallorca have increased significantly: it's not just Ballermann tourists who are now being punished. Graffiti sprayers are hit even harder, as they will also face significantly higher fines under the new regulation.
Anyone traveling without insurance will face a fine of up to 1,500 euros. Illegal house painting falls into the “serious offense” category and can cost those affected up to 3,000 euros. The new regulations are expected to come into force in the coming weeks – in time for the peak summer season.
