Fire at Kalliste Park in Marseille: the burned apartment was the subject of an illegal occupation. A 4-year-old boy lost his life and at least 21 people were treated by emergency services after suffering burns or poisoning from the fumes released.
A key witness has already been interviewed by the police. According to his testimony, the fire started at his auxiliary heating, then spread to the furniture in the apartment. The investigation will now have to “determine the exact circumstances and causes of the fire”
