Fire in an apartment building: emergency services rescue two people from the building. The fire caused an estimated damage of 400,000 euros, according to a police spokesman.
The exact cause initially remained unclear, but it is suspected that it may have started in the kitchen. The Regensburg fire department reported that four apartments and the stairwell were heavily smoked. The rescued people were on the second floor of the building, the residents of the other floors were either able to leave the building independently or were supported by the police.
