Michelle O'Neill from the Sinn Fein party took over as the new First Minister in Belfast on Saturday - the first Catholic in the 103-year history of the country. Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald said a united Ireland was “within reach” The party is also ahead in polls in the Republic of Ireland, however, two liberal-conservative parties in a coalition are preventing participation in the government.
