Public House is the latest British restaurant to open in London. The former American Dream is a stone's throw from the Opéra Garnier.

The four carefully decorated magpies, accompanied by green salad and produced in a dedicated room, are undeniably a must-have on the menu. Our favorite? The one with melting potatoes, caramelized onions, stringy matured cheddar, counterbalanced by... decidedly not fish and chips, but scones. The new British temple of the Bertrand group combines a legendary location, a wow-worthy decor by the very prominent Laura Gonzalez on three floors and a signed map by Calum Franklin, king of pie across the Channel, where he created the Pie Room at the Holborn Dining Room, in 2018, at the Rosewood Hotel in London, in the city's East End.
