Fish died after construction water was discharged. In March there were several water pollution incidents in Starnberg, which had either no or significant consequences.
In two of the three cases, the criminal offense of water pollution is being investigated. The cause of an oil film found on the Georgenbach in St Carnberg on March 18th is still unknown. The Starnburg volunteer fire department used oil barriers to prevent the oil from flowing into Lake Starn Berg. The investigations by the Starnenberg police station into the crime ofWater pollution are ongoing.
