Five Frenchmen and a Moroccan from Reims were arrested and brought to justice for their involvement in an illicit trafficking of migrants. The defendants, aged between 21 and 26, will be tried on June 2.

They are accused of having participated, from May to October 2022, in an illegal immigration network that smuggled migrants of Tunisian, Algerian, Afghan and Syrian origin from Hungary to Austria. The Hungarian and Austrian police have previously convicted and imprisoned five other French nationals, including four from Val-de-Marne.
