Flamanville EPR: fuel loading postponed to “mid-April” at the earliest, according to ASN. The Nuclear Safety Authority has just completed its examination of its EPR authorization file, and will launch public consultation on its draft commissioning decision this week.
Given the “incompressible deadlines” of this consultation which must last “15 days, even 3 weeks”, the loading of nuclear fuel, a key milestone for the start-up of the reactor, will not be able to take place before mid-April.
