Floods have reached their peak in Burgundy, 400 homes affected in Indre-et-Loire. Yonne is still placed on red alert, and Aube, Côte d'Or and Haute-Marne are on orange alert.
The flood wave continues to propagate further downstream, particularly in the Brienon-sur-Armançon sector. On the Serein, the rising waters are occurring at a “very sustained pace”, added the Yonne prefecture.
