Netanyahu will undergo the surgery under full anesthesia following a routine examination that was conducted on Saturday night. His deputy, Minister of Justice Yariv Levin, will fill his place.

In the summer, Netanyahu was referred to Sheba Hospital twice after feeling unwell, and a pacemaker was implanted in him. Netanyahu's medical report consists of two documents - one letter signed by the family doctor Dr. Zvika Berkowitz and the director of the surgical department at Hadassah Prof. Alon Pikarsky.
