Former MK and one of the founders of the Black Panthers Charlie Beaton has passed away. His funeral will be held tonight at 10:30 PM in Jerusalem.
Beaton was born in Casablanca, Morocco and immigrated to Israel at the age of two. He was an Israeli social activist and a former member of Knesset on behalf of Hadash, one ofThe Black Panthers. The Black Panthers were a radical left-wing group that was founded in 1966. They were later absorbed into the New Black Panther Party.
