Fernando Alonso and George Russell were involved in an incident that ended with the Briton out of competition. Alonso was anyway penalized for causing an accident that left Russell out of the race. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc finished on the podium, with Alonso in second and Russell in third. The race was the third date of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
