Red Bull's Max Verstappen repeated his victory in the second race of the season. The 18-year-old, who made his debut with the Scudería in an emergency, came in seventh place and swept the race for driver of the day.
The Spanish Fernando Alonso was fifth, two places ahead of the young British Ferrari driver Oliver Bearman, who more than fulfilled in his first GP in F1 the emergency replacement of the Spanish Carlos Sainz Jr. Charles Leclerc was third on the podium, 20 seconds behind the winner.
