Franco-Swiss incident after the world record for the largest raclette recently established in the Loire. Since this giant raclette party which brought together 2,236 people (figure recorded by a bailiff) voices have been raised in the canton of Valais to denounce this record.
“Raclette is like the Rhône. Our French friends claim that it belongs to them but they forget that both have their origins in Swiss Valais,” jokes Eddy Baillifard.
