Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana met tonight (Thursday) at the Elysee Palace with French President Emmanuel Macron. The meeting dealt with the continuation of the fighting in the Gaza Strip with an emphasis on the operation expected to take place against the Hamas battalions in Rafah.

Ohana also referred to humanitarian aid: "If there is hunger in Gaza - He is in the tunnels with our captors" Later, the two also discussed Iran's threats to respond: "We are approaching the moment of truth vis-à-vis Iran. The free world must not allow Iran to exit the war as it entered it," Ohana told the French President. He also discussed the possibility of a military campaign against Hezbollah in the north and Iran's threat to act against Israel.
