The Holy Sepulcher was completely renovated over a year since April 2023 with the help of several volunteers. The Westermeier carpentry shop from Kleinthalheim rebuilt the entire substructure, took on the carving work and also donated a sum of money.
In total, we put in around 1,000 hours of voluntary work," says Bernhard Schuster, who was delighted with the successful result. The components will then be in the adjacent St. Michael's Chapel until the next Holy Week.
