Vladimir Putin has just been re-elected for a new six-year term. The master of the Kremlin addressed a crowd gathered on the Russian capital's famous Red Square.

Russian flags waved and the anthem of the motherland chanted at the top of their lungs. Moscow formalized in September 2022 the attachment to Russia of the separatist republics of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson, partially occupied by Russian troops since the start of the war in Ukraine.
