Alfonsine, a town in the province of Ravenna, was saved from flooding thanks to the work of farmers and land reclamation consortia. Dalida, a seven-year-old girl, decided to allocate part of her pocket money to those who were working to save the country from flooding.

Her family and the collaboration of the Alfonsinese association 'Romagnacuore' decided to start a fundraiser for residents who suffered damage. The funds raised, the mother added, "will be distributed equally among families who have suffered damage"
