The New York Post published a headline that said half of Generation Z are germophobes for washing their hands ten or more times a day. There is no ideal number, but rather a series of recommended situations.

Hand washing is related to fewer respiratory infections or as a good measure to prevent diarrhea, for example. When they wash too much, there is “more risk of dermatitis, dryness or micro-wounds.” The data does not leave a part of the population in a good position: a quarter of Spaniards do not always wash their hands after going to the bathroom.
