French, German and Catalan laboratories genetically analyze the mammal's feces and confirm the longest journey recorded in this species. Between Nordhorn, a German city in Lower Saxony that borders the Netherlands, and the Ilerda municipality of Lleida there is a distance of 1,240 kilometers.
