Mordi Alon was a journalist and publisher, and became a collector of rare objects and sports memorabilia. The official FIFA museum has items purchased through it, and once Jackie Chan called himself and purchased a poster of a movie starring him.
"Every day is a history lesson. The doll arrives, which is now behind you, so you research it and learn something new every day," says Alon. "I grew up in a home where there was nothing, barely food," he says.
