Barranquilla lost the 2027 Pan American Games due to a failure to make payments due. Panam Sports confirms its decision to withdraw its headquarters to the capital of Atlántico.
Former President Iván Duque entered the discussion to defend his management of the Games. Duque blamed the supposed loss of the race car (which was not actually won) on the current Government. He also blamed the current government for the lack of infrastructure for a competition that has been waiting for a decade.
