From peacocks to bees: tour through Dießen's Schacky Park. The support association has started this year's series of moderated tours specifically on this topic.

During the heyday of the park named after him, the royal treasurer Ludwig Freiherr von Schacky enjoyed the colorful peacocks, turkeys and turtle doves. In 1933, under pressure from the Nazis, the site was sold to the Sisters of Mercy, who continued to operate it as a cow pasture. In 2003, the sisters leased the nine-hectare eastern half to the market town of dießen.
