Yanina Marotte chased and killed one of the thieves who had stolen her cell phone. "He fulfilled his duty," wrote Fernando Soto, director of Regulations and Judicial Liaison of the Ministry of National Security.

Soto's statement joins that of the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich. Bullrich showed the video in which the exact moment of the robbery is seen, when Marotte is pushed, knocked down and struggled with the thieves. In the images you can see that she gets up from the floor and, with the gun raised, the chase begins.
