Shalom Rotban was only 17 years old when he saw his friends lying dead on the floor after a rocket hit their home during Operation Pillar of Defense. He was the first to arrive at the scene, even before the rescue forces, and since then his family says that this normal child was badly burned and did not remain the same.
For about two years he went missing - until he was located in Jordan. About a month ago, he was seen walking on a road near Amman and the Jordanian residents who found him brought him to a mental hospital.
