The accident happened on federal highway 470 just before Schwarzenbach (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district) Three people were injured, including a pregnant woman. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is ongoing. The B470 had to remain completely closed until around 11 p.m. The vehicles were recovered by towing services.
