The move follows the resignation of Mathias Vicherat, who was accused of abusing his position as director of the institute. The resignation was linked to the blocking of access to the Emile Boutmy amphitheater by a group of students from the Union of Jewish Students of France (UEJF) The decision to block the access was taken after a petition by the students calling for a return to the venue was sent to the government.
