Peruvian writer Gabriela Wiener is a candidate for the International Booker Prize. The essayist dissects issues such as colonialism, poverty and sex.

Wiener traces the past that she does in Huaco to understand how she and the world got to where she is today. Her partner Jaime Rodríguez: “There is no difference between Gabi and her writing.
