A couple of parents died in a head-on collision with another car in Laval-Pradel, north of Alès (Gard), on Friday. Their infant, a few days old, is seriously injured.
In the other car was another couple, aged 80 and 85, conscious but injured. The driver could have driven over a patch of diesel and would have lost control of his vehicle which would have veered into the opposite lane. The police in charge of the investigations are hard at work and have hypotheses that they will have to determine.
