A man close to the survivalist movement was arrested Monday morning in Carnas, in Gard. 56 explosive objects were discovered by members of the GIGN from Orange and Paris.
Police remained at the suspect's home for 48 hours: the house was made up of traps. The custody of the individual, aged around fifty, was “deemed incompatible with his state of health” He was placed in a psychiatric hospital. More information to follow in relation to this story.
