Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh announced on Al Jazeera the death of three of his sons and several grandchildren in an Israeli strike in the besieged Gaza Strip. 14 people, including young children, were killed in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday during a strikes on a house in the Nousseirat camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip, according to the Health Ministry of Hamas.
The Israeli army, without reference to this strike, said it had targeted several targets, including a rocket launch base, and killed members of a “terrorist cell” The conflict has raged since October 7, triggered by the unprecedented attack by Hamas in Israel, which left 1,170 dead, mostly civilians. More than 250 people have been kidnapped and 129 remain detained in Gaza, including 34 who have died, Israeli officials say..
