Germany seeks to modernize and reinforce its vehicles and arsenal. They also want to create a Cyber Defense division, to protect itself from computer attacks.
European leaders, especially those in the center and east of the continent, believe that they live, as Polish Prime Minister and former President of the European Council Donald Tusk said last week, “pre-war times.” The rhetoric is in crescendo, such as the announcements of multi-million dollar investments to resurrect a catatonic military industry.
