A 79-year-old farmer died under the wheels of his tractor in Grayan-et-l'Hôpital on Thursday. He was repairing his tractor when the situation got out of hand.
An investigation, entrusted to the Gironde gendarmerie, is underway in order to clarify the exact circumstances of this tragedy. The stopped machine started rolling again for an undetermined reason, seriously injuring the almost octogenarian. If the incident seems domestic, a medico-legal obstacle was nevertheless noted when declaring the death.
