Gloxinia is a rhizomatous tropical plant with resolute flowers. The gloxinia flowers measure between 3 and 5 cm long and can be arranged in bouquets or isolated.
It is a tropical plant which requires special attention, particularly in terms of temperatures and watering. Gloxinia rhizomes are repotted around February after having been kept dry in a cool room for a period of time. You can keep the same potting soil for 2 to 3 years to ensure a healthy houseplant.
