Former presidents of Uruguay, Argentina and the U.S. met this week in Montevideo.

They declared their repudiation of insults, lies and defamation in politics. The three former presidents have embarked on a road-show around their country. He says Uruguay offers a vision of democratic civilization deliciously foreign to the barbarism that consumes political discourse in Spain, where he lives.
