The program began several years ago and originally included only grades 1-3. The cost of adding the gardens to the state coffers is between NIS 200 million and NIS 300 million.
"I am happy that a solution has been found to make it easier for parents and children," says the head of the National Parents' Leadership. "Not knowing what is to come has changed the minds of hundreds of thousands of parents who are working during this period and have not found a solution for their children," he adds.
