Governors of Patagonia rejected the privatization of the Río Turbio state coal company. They did so through a joint statement from the United Provinces of the South bloc.
They propose, however, a productivity agreement for the R Turbio Carboniferous Deposits (YCRT) The YCRT company has not been sustainable for decades, the governors said in the statement. But, they added, they intend “to do well, because then Argentina will do well"
