Grafinger Volksfest begins on Friday, May 3rd. A pint of beer costs 11.60 euros this year, half a chicken costs the same.

“All non-alcoholic drinks still cost under four euros,” promises the festival host, Anton Kainz. A tradition at the Grandau Folk Festival is the children's afternoon on May 8th. The Punch and Judy show will also be a guest in the festival tent. On Father's Day, May 9th, the festival begins at 10 a.m. with the Ammertaler Musi. There is also an extra competition for women and grilled ox will be served “Wadßerbei”. The final spurt for Father’s Day is on Friday May 10th at 10:30 p.m., which is traditionally a lot of excitement at the Clubs and Companies, which is on the program of the Grafinger Folk Festival. The festival ends on Sunday, May 13th at 11 a. m. and there is a shuttle service every S-Bahn.
